Dodge Tech LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates Eureka! Timer (the “App”). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.
Eureka! Timer doesn’t have accounts, doesn’t have a server, and doesn’t send your data anywhere. Everything the App remembers — your settings, your timers, any photos you choose to use — stays on your device. The only outside party that receives any of your data is Google AdMob, which shows a single, non-personalized banner ad on the home screen.

We have no user accounts, no sign-in, no cloud sync, and no backend server. There is no mechanism by which Dodge Tech LLC could identify you or connect your use of the App to you as a person, because nothing about your use of the App is ever transmitted to us.
The App stores the following locally, on your device only, using standard on-device storage (not a cloud service):
You can remove imported photos individually at any time from within the App. “Reset to defaults” in Settings clears your timer settings and preferences — including any saved presets — back to first-run state, but deliberately leaves your imported photos in place, since they’re your content rather than a preference — to remove them, delete them individually. Uninstalling the App removes everything — settings and photos alike — from your device.
If you turn on “Timer Finished Notifications” in Settings — off by default, so nothing changes unless you turn it on — the App asks your device’s operating system for permission to show notifications. When you then switch away from the App while a timer is running, it schedules a single local notification for the moment that timer finishes, so you’re alerted even if you’re in another app. This notification is scheduled entirely on your device: no server or third party is involved, and nothing about your timers, your photos, or your use of the App is transmitted anywhere to make it happen. It’s canceled automatically if you return to the App, cancel the timer, or the timer finishes while the App is already in the foreground.
On Android, the App also requests permission to schedule exact alarms, so this notification arrives at the exact moment the timer ends rather than being delayed by the operating system’s battery-saving scheduling. This permission does not give the App access to anything beyond scheduling that one alert.
The App shows a single banner ad on the home screen only, served by Google AdMob. Ads never appear during or after an active timer.
Google AdMob is the only third-party service the App actually uses. We do not use any analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs of any kind. The App’s notification feature is built on a software library that comes bundled with a small, unused piece of Google code — it never runs and never connects to the internet.
Eureka! Timer is designed for parents and caregivers to use together with children for routines like toothbrushing or cleanup. The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children, and ads shown in the App are always non-personalized and served under Google’s child-directed advertising treatment, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Because your settings and photos never leave your device, there is no server-side database that could be breached. Your data is protected by your device’s own operating system security (screen lock, encryption, etc.), the same as any other locally stored file or app data.
If we make a material change to this policy, we’ll update the effective date above. Since the App has no way to contact you directly, we’d recommend checking this page occasionally if you have concerns.
